Post an internship

FledgePath for companies

Meet your future hires years before anyone else does.

Post one real internship for a high school student. We find the students whose interests match, screen them fairly, handle parent consent and the paperwork, and hand you a short list ready to work.

The company portal

What's in it for you

A pipeline, a reputation, and real help — for the cost of a few hours.

  • A pipeline: the student who fixes your drivetrain at sixteen is the engineer who comes back at twenty-two, already loyal.
  • A reputation: in a town, families talk. The company that gave a kid their first real shot is the one they recommend, buy from and send their friends to.
  • Real help on real work: a project that has waited for months — a data clean-up, a website refresh, a lab inventory, a social channel — done by someone eager to prove themselves.
  • A shortlist, not a stack: you read three fair, evidence-based summaries, not a hundred resumes.
  • Zero admin: consent, work permits where your state needs them, signatures, hours and a completion record, all handled on the platform.

What it does for a student

The first line on a resume that is actually true.

A high schooler with an internship has something most applicants never get: proof. A real employer, a real project, a person who can write them a recommendation, and a clear answer to the question every college and every future boss asks — what have you done?

When the internship ends, the crew writes it onto their resume automatically, in the right words, with your name on it.

How it works

Fifteen minutes to post. The crew does the rest.

  • Sign up with your company email and verify — five minutes.
  • Post the internship: what they would do, hours, paid or unpaid, ages, where, and what you are looking for. Your rubric becomes the screening.
  • The crew invites the students whose maps fit. Each applies with the resume Harper drafted from their record. A parent consents before anything else happens.
  • Sam, the screener, interviews every applicant by voice or chat against your rubric and writes a fair summary with evidence from the transcript — never guesses, never protected characteristics.
  • You choose. Signatures and permits are collected. The student works. Completion is recorded and lands on their resume.

Minors, done right

Safety first, in writing.

  • Parent or guardian consent before any contact, every time. Under thirteen, both parent and student must say yes.
  • No private messaging: every conversation runs through the platform and is guarded for contact details and unsafe content.
  • Work permits and hour limits follow your state; the platform collects the consent record you need to keep.
  • You are always a person in the loop: Sam summarises, you decide. Nothing is automated past the shortlist.

Cost

Free for companies. Free for students.

FledgePath is a nonprofit-minded project funded by supporters. Posting, screening, consent and paperwork cost you nothing. Pay the student what your state and your conscience say — paid internships fill fastest.

Companies that want to go further can sponsor a student, offer a project to a circle, or fund the exam room for a school.
